Erika Lynn Jolie
Founder, Writer, Producer & Director
Erika Lynn Jolie is a screenwriter, producer, director, and actress from Upton, Massachusetts. She has been obsessed with telling stories through film since she was in elementary school. At the age of 7, she borrowed her parents’ old camcorder and began creating her own video projects (her favorite is the 3-hour superhero movie she shot when she was 8).
Erika took a step up from her home movies in summer 2016, when she was 14 years old, and created a 15-episode web series based on Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books. She wrote, produced, directed, and acted in the series, and managed everything from casting, to location scouting and production design. The series cast included actor Zachariah Supka, known for American Hustle (with Christian Bale and Amy Adams) and AMC’s Feed the Beast.
After her web series finished its run in 2018, Erika wrote and produced her next project: a Valentine’s Day short film XOXO. She worked with director Anthony DeCologero and actor Benjamin Breault, known for Tayarisha Poe’s Selah and the Spades and the Netflix original show The Society.
Erika loves working both in front of and behind the camera on projects of every genre and length, but regardless of her role, her new goal is to tell truly unique stories that challenge audience expectations, whether that be through breaking genre boundaries, exploring distinctive characters, or delving into twisted and unconventional plots.
Erika is currently training in acting technique with coach Amanda Brooke Lerner.
