Sarah de Leon
Writer, Producer & Director
Sarah de Leon was born and bred in Southern California where she was raised on Disney movies and sitcom re-runs. By the age of 7 she knew she wanted to be a writer when a student teacher allowed her to continue writing stories and poems instead of doing math like the rest of her classmates. That secret support became a defining moment in her life which inspired a true passion for creative storytelling. A career in the entertainment industry was the perfect way to combine her obsession with film and TV with her love of writing and making people laugh.
She is a proud alumnus of Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Screenwriting and a Minor in Television Production. In addition to writing screenplays, Sarah taught herself how to produce and with the help of many talented peers she was able to write and produce over 10 different projects ranging from web series to feature-length films.
Now a permanent resident of Los Angeles, Sarah is an LA Times published writer currently working as a talent manager at Citizen Skull Productions and the VP of Development at 13 Paces. To find out more about Sarah, visit her website at sarahdeleon.com.
